I am new on this blog and after some topics and replies, i am convinced that i came to the right place. Here as follows is my situation:
Came in the UK in 1999 as student
Met an EEA national and got married in 2002 and had a daughter which by the way is not his daughter
Submitted application and got 5 years residence in April 2003
Divorce procédure started in 2007 and got decree nisi very late in 2009 as i had moved houses but decree was made absolute in September 2009
Meanwhile, April 2008 RC expired and i submitted an application with my kid for ILR, I received letter from HO in 2010 stating that i might have retained right of residence pending that i provided more documents.
Documents were sent and 6 months later, i received a refusal letter
Made another application which was again refused because ex husband didn't met all the treaty rights criteria as he didn't have medical cover
Made a fresh application which was once more refused!!!! Wow
So in November 2011, i made an application for FLR and application was sent to Permanent Migration in Liverpool, i received a letter telling me that
I may be able to retain a right of residence following the divorce but couldn't get it at the time as i didn't join decree absolute to the application. So i have done it and sent the whole application to HO which has considered it as a whole new application!!!!! So I received COA in August 2012 and my six months wait have passed since November 12!!! Been calling since and the reply is still the same: Application still not completed!!!Has someone else been confronted to the same issues!!! All advices are welcome!!! Sorry for the length of the topic!!!!! [/list]
