Application on 10 years rule SAR and date to apply

I found this forum extremely helpful, so thank you again.

A few questions regarding application

1. Just heard of SAR, is it useful and does it affect future application anyhow if requested?
2. I came to the uk on 30.7.04, does it mean I can only apply after 30.7.14?
3. I cannot find any maintenance /bank balance requirement; is there anything I am missing?

SAR report does not affect your application in future.

You will be allowed to apply after 10years provided you have stayed lawfully all over these years. There is no maintenance fund requirement for 10 year rule

you can apply anytime after 2nd july 2014 .

I just wanted to confirm when I send bank statements for application long residence 10 years; the duration covered should be a month or the whole year of transactions?
