No pension scheme from Indian company

Post by Priyakumarh » Sun Feb 24, 2013 2:09 pm

Hello,

I am considering a job offer by an Indian IT company in the UK. I currently work for a British company and am part of their pension scheme. The Indian company has told me that I will not be part of their pension scheme as I don't have a British passport. Is that legal? I have an Indian passport just now and hold an ILR.

That's not correct. You don't need to have a British passport to be eligible for a pension scheme.
