London congestion charges (PCN)

Post by SHK » Sun Feb 24, 2013 9:08 pm

Hi

I was working in a courier company and while I was there company bought a new vehicle and register vehicle under my name and one of company driver was using the vehicle.

The vehicle received some London congestion charges (PCN) and company director was dealing with the matter with Transport for London and later on I find out that he appeal against these charges.

I was not aware of the matter till I left the company.

I was not driving the vehicle at that time and not even insured on vehicle at that time.

It was just one of company driver driving and director was using this vehicle.

I am going to apply for Naturalization and then British Passport.

I would like to know did these (PCN) effect my application for Naturalization.

If these (PCN) effects which were not my fault in any way then how can I clear this matter in best manners.

Regards

Hello,

Just to clarify, PCN's are harmless and would not affect your application if they are either settled or dismissed.

Please refere to this tread for more information.

When you said the company director appealed the charged, do you know if he eventually managed go get the charged dropped?
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it...

The pcn should not affect your application proving you haven't got lots of them. However, I'd be more concerned with that guy registering vehicle in your name he may have committed an offence there if he didn't have your consent.
