The form for your contact details is now live. This will be the group which will receive communication on how we plan further.
Please enter your details at
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1XBI0w5 ... c/viewform
Update: So far, 21 people have registered their details on the form (19 on T1G and 2 on ILR).

The link to google doc need more visibility, so it would help if we post it (& its purpose) on FB, Twitter, other similar blogs/boards or whereever we can get more people to sign up.
Another thing to point out is that this case might have implications on past applications as well, people who have already paid exorbitant application fees might be eligible for a refund as i am assuming except for HSMP applicants everyone has paid more in their extensions/ILR's compared to initial applications...

UKBA mentioned:
'These increases are mostly in line with inflation and will ensure that the UK continues to welcome the brightest and the best. It is only right that those who use and benefit from the immigration system should contribute more than the UK taxpayer.'
Above statement mentioned the fee increase is in-line with inflation but I really don't accept this.
Tier 1 - (General) Standard - main from £1,500 to £1,545, £45 increase which is fine
Tier 1 - (General) Standard - £409 increase which is really not acceptable
Here local people making such a big issue if tube/energy fare increased 10/20 pence.
I am sure the government will behave (increasing the fee) the same for every year to migrants, I really don't know how to oppose this. The only thing we can do is leaving this country as Jagan said above.
Also note about fees increase for separate dependent applications as mentioned by Yash001.
kg_1218 you are right about leaving this country as this is what HO/UKBA wants from us means either allow them to milk remaining migrants as much as possible as they already closed highly skilled path and its only for some years till when everyone under Tier-1 General get ILR.
It could be 1159 for ALL DEPENDANTS(Regardless of Numbers only 1 fee applicable).
You never know because its still not very clear. Why they write all dependents in some categorise.
don't get confused its each dependent not all dependents. All Dependents means that even if you have second or third child fee will be the same. before these changes like in neutralization case for second and third child fee was less but here it says for all dependent fee will be the same.

Please let the people know who want to apply for ILR in Future.
because
ILR Standard - main £991 To £1,051 its Ok
ILR Standard - all dependants £496 To £788 That is too much
and if they are applying after 2 years be ready to pay same about 2000 at that time.
They are ripping us publicly because no one willing to put the voice up
Say NO now or Accept as your destiny

I guess new fee proposal is not accepted.
check
http://ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/siteconte ... 9-new-fees
where it says. proposal will be laid on 14 March.
Now check
http://ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/siteconte ... h/24-rules
where nowhere Fee increment is mentioned?
Let me know if i am missing anything?

Lets wait until 6th of April , there are hardly a few days left. They might not have put it as a public news item bc this allows for sufficient days for us to fight back and possibly revert the ruling (low probability).
However lets say they announce on the 5th of April and then its already approved and then reversal could take months if not years.
Lets keep the momentum building , and try to get more people to agree in case we need to make a last minute attempt, we have all the backup we need.

UK BORDER AGENCY FEES FROM APRIL 2013.Fees that increase more than 3% inflation. Actually UKBA cashing the people up to make more money where more applicants are applying. where number of applicant went down they bring down the Fee for that category. we are luck or unlucky that passing from the high application area.
we all have to face same in future for ILR and naturalization time as well.
like for ILR dependent
ILR Standard - all dependants £496 £788
Naturalisation (UK Citizenship) joint 1 £1,317 £1,550
Nationality Registration adult/ other 1 £631 £753
Nationality Registration minor 2 £551 £673
Nationality Registration multiple minor main 2 £827 £1,178
Nationality Registration multiple minor dependant 2 £276 £505
Tier 1 - (General) Standard - all dependants £750 £1,159
ILR Standard CESC - dependant £496 £788
LTR Other Standard - dependant £281 £433
Residual FLR IED Standard - dependants £281 £433
Residual FLR BUS Standard - dependants £510 £788
Employment LTR outside PBS Standard Dependant £281 £433
They reduced the Fee for
Tier 1 – Graduate Entrepreneur Standard - main £700 £406
Tier 1 – Graduate Entrepreneur Standard CESC - main £630 £365
Tier 1 – Graduate Entrepreneur Standard - all dependants £350 £305
t
so its clear that they want to cash the number of applicant on the name of application process.... if they increase the fee for a new category number of applicant significantly will go down in that category people will apply to Canada and Australia USA
