What will happen if one of the team member withdraw?

Post by aliman13 » Wed Feb 27, 2013 2:58 pm

I am just wondering what will happen if one of the entrepreneur team member withdraw their application. Will the other one be considered as withdrawn automatically or UKBA will trade the application separately?

Such situation is no where mentioned in the rules however I am quite confident that other one will be treated as normal.

Thanks, rizwan567. The only thing that I am worried about is that the source of fund. What if the 200k is in a joint account with both of the team members' names on? Will that affect anything. If the member who is willing to quit is happy to leave the money in that joint account, should he/she write to UKBA and explain about this?

Another forum member has his case refused today where he submitted joint bank statements/letters but did not submit third party letters. http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=127439

If you are in similar situation then it advised be quick and get third party letters drafted, signed and attested by legal rep and forward them to UKBA as soon as possible before you application is decided. Else you can me be end up getting similar objection.

Agreed with Rizwan that nothing is mention in guidance and rules regarding this .... but I think they will ask you to show you still have access to 200k /50k.

for example if you have submitted 2 bank statements of 100k /25k each than they might ask you to provide recent bank statement showing access to 200k /50k.

regards

Thanks for your advice. I am very shocked that the joint account statement is not sufficient. The application we have is a in-country application and the money £200k+ is saved in HSBC in the UK. Will I still have the same problem as the other forum member?

Thanks. Do you think that an additional cover letter explaining the money can be used solely by another member and then withdraw my own application will work?
