Switching from Tier 4 into Tier 2.

Post by obatemi » Thu Feb 28, 2013 8:59 pm

Hi,

I am currently a Tier 4 student I have finished my MSc in 2009, and just finished my MPhil Degree.

I have been offered a Business Analyst role that pays over 20,000 pounds but does not meet the payment threshold for business analyst which is generally about 29,000pounds.

I am aware that it must be a NQF level 6 role or a creative NQF level 4, will i be able to apply for a Tier 2 Visa only if the role matches with the roles stated on the UKBA website and other documentations.

Is there a way out?

If not is there any other category I can switch to?

Nope. You can only be here if you meet the employment requirements, are the spouse or partner of a UK ILR holder of UKC or if you are a student. Thems the options.

Best advice if you want to stay: convince this sponsor to up your salary or find a new sponsor.
