Tier 1 dependant outside UK - No status change

Hi,

I applied for tier 1 dependant application in india on 18 feb 2013. iam switching from tier 1 general to dependant.

but my status still says "visa application forwarded to british high commision".

its been more than 11 working days, still the status remains the same.

anybody in the same boat as me?

That is normal, dont worry.

the status changes every time they take action on your application.

1. visa application forwarded to british high commision
2. Your application is currently under process.
3. your application in transit..

These are the various stages during the procedure.

I am in the same boat. My wife applied for a Tier 1 Dependent Visa on 13th Feb at the New Delhi VFS and the status says it is under processing since 18th Feb. It has been more than 15 working days already.

@jhansi_82: Which VFS have you applied from.

Looks like there might be a hugh backlog at the moment.
