1) Child Birth Certificate (Full)
2) Copies of Father's ILR (BRP + approval letter)
3) Child's passport if he has any (current + old)
4) If child born before 2006 then parent's marriage certificate.
Are you saying the child you are applying for is not in UK? I may be wrong but I dont think you can apply from within UK in this case.naCC wrote:Thanks but my children went back home and their pakistani passport has been expired do I need to bring the passports of just the copies will be enough ?
Sorry mate i dont know, sounds like a complicated situation to me. All i know was that you definitely need originals but in this case originals are expired and thus invalid anyway - i dont know mate. May be someone else can shed more light on it. Good luck.naCC wrote:So without Original passports they won't accept the application ? I mean I made temporary Manual passports just to send them back home I do have copies but originals are not with me, DO they need Original ones as well ? and they are already expired anyway.
You can apply from the UK (while they are abroad). You can apply without their passports.naCC wrote:So without Original passports they won't accept the application ? Hi nats, nats wrote:Hi, I just received ILR and want to apply for my child's citizenship. My child born in UK a year ago and does not have any visa and never travelled outside UK. I have few questions for filling MN1 form:
In Section 1 of form:
1- What to fill in 1.1 ?
2- What to fill in 1.2 ?
3- In 1.26 = I wrote my nationality but should i also mention that I got ILR?
Section2:
4- I assume section 2 is not for me? its for those whose child born outside uk?
Section 7:
5- I guess I should not tick 7.7 and 7.8 points?
Fee slip:
6- the correct fee is £551?
7- I should not fill FEE Refund part of fee slip.
8- What does 'delete' means in payment card types. Should we cross irelevant cards types?
Documents:
1- My child birth certificate
2- Child Passport
3- My BRP
4- Only 1 photo of child
5- Is my ILR Approval letter required?
6- my Passport Required?
7- Is child's mother passport or VIsa card required? (she has PBS dependent visa yet)
8- Marriage certificate ? (child born in 2011)

It would be better you start this discussion on a new thread. It just isn't ethical to hijack someone else's.
