Child born only a day before ILR

Post by zavix9 » Thu Mar 07, 2013 4:04 pm

I got my ILR on 02 Feb, only a day after my baby was born (01 Feb).

I understand technically the baby is not a British citizen when born before my ILR. But is there any 'grace' period in UKBA rules that can allow the baby to be registered as a British citizen if born only 24 hrs before the ILR got approved for a parent?

I want to avoid going through the naturalisation route and MN1 form if I can.
