Tier 2 - ICT Visa and ILR eligibility

Post by Toms007 » Sat Mar 09, 2013 11:42 pm

Hi Friends,

I came to the UK on the 09/08/2011 on a Tier 2 ICT visa which was issued on 12/07/2011. I understood from my friends and the UKBA site that, I am not eligible for ILR even after 5 years since my visa is issued after April 6th 2010 as the rules have changed after this date.

I am looking for any possibilities of getting ILR after 5 years. If I request, my employer *may* do the required assistance from their side to make me eligible for ILR.

But before that, I would like to know from the experts here, whether there are any possibilities for me to be eligible for ILR, for which I want to give a try if at all possible.

I would like to know, any possible routes for me to apply for ILR after 5 years as my employer will be willing to provide the necessary help.

Please provide me with the required information.

Cheers

If you remain on Tier 2 ICT leave, then 245GF(d) fails.

Change/switch to something else, if you are able to.
