UKBA verification checks - Overseas Qualification

Post by irfansworld » Thu Mar 14, 2013 1:26 am

Hi Forum Members

I would be very grateful if someone could advise my case. I submitted my application on 13 July 2012, given biometrics on the 1 Aug 2012 and waiting since then for a decision to be made on my application. i send first reminder on 20 Jan 2013 did not get any response, then send second reminder did not get any response. On 5 March 2013 I went UKBA office
to find the progress of my application. and been told that the doing the my

UKBA stating my application is going through extended checks on my degree verification . they told me they send first verification to UK high commission, Mexico. to check from the university, in dec 2012 and second one on 20th Feb 2013 but .haven't had any response from High commission.

I have contact the my university they confirm me that they have not receive any verification from UKBA or high commission.they happy to response to if they received any request to confirm the degree certificate

seem to me that might British high commission been very lazy and secondly haven't been given any correspondence from UKBA so far regarding. They might not reply to UKBA.

i check with British high commission they advise me that they haven't receive any request from UKBA... regarding my Degree Verification.

Where do I standing ?

Can I advise my University to issue a letter to the UKBA?
or Is there anyway

It would be very helpful if someone could help me finding the answers for the above questions.
