Tier 2 uk (general)

Hi, My husband applied for a tier 2 general visa about three weeks ago in india, and till today the status on the vfs India website states that the application has been forwarded to the British high commission. Does anyone know how long it takes in India to get a visa. We have also applied for my daughters and my dependent visas on the same day.

It all depends on the Checks The British High Commission wants to do. They might want to do some further checks and there could be a delay in Bio Metric results coming through. Normally they should grant the visas with in one month. Delay may be due to some checks they want to do.
