Tier 2 (ICT) to Tier 2 General Dependant

Post by lopa.panda81 » Sun Mar 24, 2013 6:03 pm

Hi,
I am desperately looking for some answers but speaking to one solicitor, they told me its a gray area. Another one said - "However there is a leading case where if the rules simply require you to apply from your home country, then you can appeal the decision if it is refused on that basis."
I am working in UK on a T2 ICT LONG TERM visa and my husband works on T2 general visa. Can i change to T2 dependant from UK or do i need to go back to my home country to apply the same.
Also, does me being pregnant have any bearing on this situation?
Your help will be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Lopa

If two solicitors told you that the answer to your question is not straightforward then there is probably more to your situation than you disclosed on the forum

On the basis of your post and according to the immigration rules you can only apply from your home country.
