None EEA family member with a German Family residence card

Can i travel to the UK without my partner and without a visa or entry clearance as i have a German family residence card valid for 5years.
Does the UK now allow to travel with the passport and the residence card of a family member of a EU citizen?

No.you have to apply family permit before travel to uk.
