I had successful ILR PEO Appointment last week. Thanks to all here for the support, surely with out you guys I could not have completed this smoothly. Thanks again, you guys are wonderful.
Mine was straight forward case HSMP + Tier-1 & staying in the same address for last 5 years as well.
My experience detailed as below.
Reached bit early @ Croydon 6.30 for 8.15 appointments and expected to be inside 30 minutes early as per appointment mail. Car parked in Whitgift shopping centre (£5 all day). I struggled a bit to find a toilet inside Whitgift shopping centre as all where closed that early in the morning . Finally as usual McDonalds helped!. (In fact I should not have worried as ample facilities inside UKBA any way.)
Got inside PEO by 7.45 & initially one security told me to sit right side just inside thinking I am waiting for solicitor, other one told me to go inside. First airport style security, every thing including belt to be removed and scanned.
Then first application check (1 – 7.52 AM) & appointment token given – which need to be kept securely till the end. Then to payment in first floor (2 – 8.05 AM) smooth operation, no ques. Then called in counter in first floor (3 – 8.10 AM) to check application, passport & photos – no evidence check here. Next step is taking biometric information (4 – 8.16 AM). Four fingers of right & left hands + thumb impressions taken along with photos. For children only photos. Then moved to second floor for CW appointment. Waited there, I could see CWs started arriving inside the glass windows & after morning small chats most of them started calling token number @ 9AM. But I have to say announcement system is not that helpful or clear. So every time we need to go & ask @ counter 44 for clarification. Also most of appointments where for bio-metric which was there in II floor as well.
Finally my call came around 10AM. CW asked me to dump all documents + application + Passports.
I submitted following in 2 files with clear separators & details as well as index sheets
File-1 ( marked as ILR docs)
- Application with Photos
- Previous HSMP/Tier-1 letters (CW didn’t take copy of this)
- Absence sheet (only 40 days in last 5 years!)
- Out of UK travel e-tickets (CW didn’t take copy of this)
- 12 Pay slips
- 12 salary Bank statements
- 2 Employer letters (one just saying employed from x/xx & second letter with last 1 year salary drawn with monthly breakups)
- 2 LIUK
- P60 (last 6 years)
- Marriage certificate
- Maintenance fund bank deposits (CW didn’t take copy of this )
- An affidavit confirming name (as name slightly different in different docs.)
+ Passport copies in a marked envelop
+ all document copies in a marked envelop
File-2 (marked as Cohab Docs)
Around 120 Joint & individual docs for the same address including
- bank statements (applicant)
- bank statements (dependent)
- child birth certificate (Joint)
- Council tax last 5 years (Joint)
- Electoral docs
- Mortgage docs (Joint)
- 5 years Home insurance docs (Joint)
- Gas bills (Joint)
- Electricity bills (Joint)
- Car insurance docs (Joint)
- Water bills (Joint)
- More Payslips of applicant
- Payslips of dependent
- HMRC letters
- Driving licence paper part
- NHS letters
- Mobile bills
- Telephone Bills
(Fortunately or unfortunately CW didn’t bother to take any copy & may not be even looked at these 120+ docs in cohab file as we were married before initial HSMP)
Dumped all docs & CW started looking at docs around 10AM (5). Ours was straight forward case with all documents needed but still took 1 hour 15 minutes for decision! Around 11.15 CW called as & handed over 3 letters & asked as to confirm we are still staying in that address. We were utterly confused as she didn’t bother to say the outcome. Sat there & checked passports & no records there either!. Utterly confused & reached home & got all clarified though a post here in this forum.!!
(Note: All incidents marked 1 to 5 above you will get a mail in your mail box as well)
Got Biometric our cards today. But still my kid’s biometric to come. Is that normal or these guys messed up that? Every one here got entire family’s biometric cards together? Please confirm.
Thanks again to all here . Any queries please reply to the post.
