Hello,
I have browsed through the forum before posting, yet if i have missed ans to my questions somehow, do pardon me.
Some timeline:
Arrived as student in 10/2003
Went back to Home country 11/2007 with valid Student visa - Applied for HSMP from India 03/2008, approved in 10/08
Returned on 11/2008 on prev student visa
Had T1 Stamped in UK 29/03/2009
Extended February 2012- visa extended until 29/03/2014
Applying for ILR in Feb 2014.
Circumstances:
I have been only away from UK (in past 4 years as T1/ visa holder) for about (approx) 60 Days
- Some continuous 5 weeks belonged to visit home country
- 10 days - Holidays in States (Personal)
- 5 Days - Holidays in Spain (Personal)
- Rest business trips across EMEA (No more than 4 working days at any given time)
Have no major work trips lined up and would by no means have more than 100 days out of the uk (including personal and business trips) by February 2014
Specific Questions:-
Using ST(O) form for ILR ? (of course its changed between now and Feb 14) - Is this correct?
Page 17 - Q - 7.11. how long have you lived in the UK?
Would this be (in my case) answered as 11 years 4 months (at the time of application) ?
Page 17 - Subsequent Question/note/statement - Please provide details of any periods of absence of more than 6 months during that time
Is my absence in 2007-2008 needed to be pen down here? If so, how does this (if at all) impact ILR application?
More Common Questions -
I do have my payslips from current employer (Jan 12). Is it "must" to have all P60 for past 5 years for Tier 1 -> ILR applications too?
I own the house my wife and I share - Do we need to show anything (to prove this) but the mortgage statement? May be Land Registry docs?
Have used PBS calculator where I scored 100 points against required 75. Is this the right one to use for ILR applications too?
How do you justify personal holidays outside of the UK? I'm sure my employer wouldn't want to know where I was strolling on my time off from work?
