For a sole trader - it probably does - but I expect UKBA will expect it to be a fully submitted self assessment form - not just the calculation.

Please read the link - it lists all the documents you require. Don't make anything up.
If you don't understand - you should talk to your spouse - he will understand the document given he's the one filling them out.

Right ... so ...
me too his self assessment tax calculation show income less than £18.600 but he told me that his income fares and tips received = £19.632 which is taxable income
Then his taxable income is NOT £19,632. It is £19,632 minus expenses.
You need to find out that number.

Hi pls pls pls tell me i'm confused and dont know about how they consider the income required for sponsor self-employed is gross income because my husband appears only gross income in his statement of income and expenditure more £18.600 and does not appear in his self-assessment tax calculation just appear net income
is necessary to show gross income on self-assessment?

Hi,
I am confused by the rules. In the Appendix FM 1.7 it is said that the salary is considered for the full financial year. Then, the partner should be in trading for the whole year? Assume that he registered as sole trader in July and then he could earn say £24K and in March next year he will file the tax return.
Then, is his wife can apply considering that the partner submitted the tax return and the income was higher than threshold or they will be refused because the partner should be in trading for the full financial year?
Thank you in advance.
