Fee options

Post by drdheer » Thu Mar 28, 2013 12:26 pm

Hello guys,

What is the best/ safest method to pay ukba? I will be sending my application along with my two dependants application by post. I am little bit worried about using Debit/Credit cards because if it declines then applications will be considered invalid and sent back! Keeping in mind increase in Fees after 6th April what is the best bet? Lloyds told me Bank Draft and Cheque is one and a same thing and do not waste 60 quids for Draft! Seeking advise please!

Kind Regards,
Gursharan

Bank Draft and Postal order are the safest. Later being the most expensive. Both of them are cash alternatives.

Bank Draft and Cheque are same, but there is a little difference. Bank draft is drawn by the banker after debiting your account so its a sure payment which will not fail. So is cheque in a way, if you have enough balance. But I take peace in knowing that payment is already made and no known human error can stop it. I would go with banker's draft. But thats my choice.

£12.5 per £250 postal order(max)
so, how many you of 250 x 12.5 = total
