P60 is Nassery to join with your Application

Post by Kisok » Thu Mar 28, 2013 3:32 pm

Hi All

Thanks to All of you friend

My question is in application they need 12 month payslip and 12 Month Bank Statment for your earning point. So why we need to keep last 5 year P60 with your Application. And if someone say its for 5 year back record they need to check so I see in form so many people applied with 3 year or 4 month P60. One of my friend got His ILR on 18th March 2013 without submit any P60 ( Not keep Single year from Last 5 Year or HMRC Letter) Any body got ILR without P60 or HMRC letter.

It is to prove your tax activity over 5 years.

I personally find this requirement really silly , because over last 5 years I have had many 2 tier 2 extensions a wp and a tier 1 extension , so obviously iqualified then which mean i proved sufficient proof then that I was paying taxes otherwise I wouldnt have been eligible.

If is incremental of sorts but they check sometimes.
Hence aome peopl get away with it and some dont

Previous P60s are not required for Tier 1.

However if you are on Tier 2 or applying under combination of Tier 2 and Tier 1, then you need to prove that you met the conditions of your leave and actually worked for the employer that sponsored your Tier 2. P60 is the easiest option to prove that. Alternately, you can also submit payslips / P45s / employment letters etc. So previous P60s are not mandatory.

I have 2 P45s from my previous job and my original employment letter dated 5 years back, would that be sufficient for my WP + Tier 2 period then?

without knowing your employment start and end dates (month/year) it will be difficult to comment.
what was the content of the employment letter?

employment start date jan 2008, P45 in december 2009 (on Wp + T2)
employment start date jan 2010, p45 for July 2012 (T2 + T1)

The content says, my start date, my pay package, holiday benefits etc

also a leaving letter date on july 2012 saying i was employed with the firm from 2004 till 2012 ( doesnt specify my period at onsite)

+ an holiday letter (covering all my absences from UK)

from sept 2012 , self employed, so have all the paper work

if you were employed with the firm from 2004 to 2012, why was P45 issued to you in Dec 2009?

P60s are not required for the period an applicant was on HSMP/Tier1.

Agreed. But there are instances where the CW has asked for P60s. Also I have read Applicants submitting at PEOs the P60s, for what ever period they had, when they have posted their experiences. I think it's good to take it with you for PEO appointments. Give it to the CW if asked for same.

I know they can ask for whatever but if something's not required then you can just tell them it not required.
Goodluck.

I was employed with the same firm from 2004 to 2012 and they sent me onsite to UK as a deputation from 2008 till 2012

In between they sent me back for only 2 weeks in Dec 2009 and I resumed again in UK in Jan 2010.

As P45 is UK specifc, they issued me with this as this was a termination of employment.

So I infer that, P60s/ employment history / P45s / Or any other employment & tax proof is required only for tier 2 period.

So in my case I was on T2 for first 3 years and the rest in T1.
i am only then planning to submit P60s, hmrc letters for those 3 years, a P45, appointment letter dated 2008 and my leaving letter (although it is dated on my offshore employment).

that satisfies the criteria right ?

thanks for confirming,

I realised the visa stamping doesnt have any soc details. WIll this be in thier system.

Do they check soc codes and salary even for history of emploeyment or is it only for people currently on tier 2 to proivide those details.

What i am failing to understand is i provide all these P60s what are they checking against.
