Bank Statements for Tier 2 General Extension

Post by abbasaliahmed » Sat Mar 30, 2013 10:25 pm

Hello,
Could anybody please confirm if they had experience a similar kind of thing and their application been approved with a visa from UKBA (Home Office) ?
The situation is:
If the main applicant is providing bank statements of say Account A as proof of earnings and Account B as proof of maintaining funds.
But interestingly, Account A is overdrawn £1000.00 (this account had an overdraft limit) and Account B has a minimum credit balance of £800.00 for 90 days. Is this Ok ? or would the Account A being overdrawn, a problem, even though sufficient funds is maintained in Account B ?
Regards,
Abbas.

That's fine. There is no requirement for your account used for previous earnings to be in credit at all times.

So long as you clearly indicate which account is to be used as evidence for maintenance funds you would be fine.

Tier 1 General Extension, Bank Statements.

Thanks cs95tdg.
Much Appreciated. Actually, I wanted to emphasise this query was with reference to Tier 1 General Extension and not Tier 2 (as erroneously posted first). That was the reason for the duplication the first post with correct subject header.
Regards,
Abbas.

Note that if you make a mistake in either your topic title or topic content, there is an "edit" option available which allows you to make changes/corrections to your existing post - without having to create a duplicate.
