Tier 1 General Switch to dependent of ILR

Post by Ali1975 » Tue Apr 02, 2013 7:11 pm

Currently my wife is Tier 1 General main applicant and I am on her dependent visa.

I am going to apply for 10 years long residency ILR after 3 months.

My questions are ;

1-Can my wife switch from Tier 1 General main applicant visa to my dependent visa after I received my ILR?

2-We are together more that five years in UK, does she has to complete another 5 years or she can apply directly for ILR?[/b]

1. Yes, FLR(M), under the new rules.
2. No, I don't think that she may directly apply for ILR. Unless she didn't switch to FLR(M) and qualifies for ILR under Tier 1 (General) or under Long residence.
