Working for a UK based company post visa expiring

Hi,

I am currently working full-time for a company in the UK and my Tier 1 Dependant visa expires on april 13, 2013. The company is willing to apply for a Tier2 but due to the long process I will have to leave the country and work from India while my Tier2 is under process since my Tier1 Visa expires. Can someone guide me if I can still stay on the company payroll during the time when my visa expires and till I get my Tier 2? I would probably be a gap of around 30 days where I dont have a valid visa to work in the UK

After your visa expires you can continue to be an employee who is based overseas.
