Re: Tier 1 dependent to ILR dependent

Hi Viney,

My Tier 1 (General) visa is expiring in Dec 2014 and my wife came to UK in March 2014 on PBS dependent visa. Am I right in saying the following please?

- I will need to apply for ILR using SET (O) form?
- My wife can either apply to extend PBS dependent visa or apply for FLR (M)? Also, does she need to pass the English language exam for PBS dependent or FLR (M) please?

Applying for FLR (M) resets the current time period of 5 years for her ILR application? It will be only 9 months for her to be in the UK on Nov 2014 when I will be applying for her visa.

Many thanks for your help in advance,
Kamran.
