IF PEO Reject ILR Application, what happens to the Fee paid?

Post by rajan1981 » Sat Apr 06, 2013 1:14 pm

Hi All,
For PEO, if one had paid the ILR Fees and submitted the application and its rejected, would they refund the fees?
I believe they won't refund but would like to know if anyone faced with such situation?

The reason am asking is, as it looks like the PEO are taking the fees first and processing the application, paying around 4.5K (Main + 3 dep after April 6th 2013) and getting rejected is too heart breaking :(

No. If you withdraw the application then you may get a refund but not for refusal.

I think the fee for 1 main + 3 deps is 4.9 K, not 4.5K. I am right or wrong?

1051 + 788*3 + 375*4 = 4915

Withdraw? How can one do it if fee is paid?

Withdrawal before a decision is made.

Withdrawal before a decision is made.
Can you please be more specific?
For example, one can withdraw after interview, from which one may know from caseworkers that it is highly likely that the application will be refused?

Getting a refund has to be before they have started the process. It would be better to go to a PEO that offers to check the application before taking payment.

Some one has mentioned, who has gone to Solihull, that CW has said that all PEOs are going to follow the same practice after 06/04.,ie: Visa Fees has to be paid before the Interview.

Thanks a lot for your replies. Yes, with the information in the new Form and as Kevin24 mentioned they seem to take the fees before hand and would not refund on refusal :(!
