Spouse Visa and ILR issue URGENT HELP

Post by Din001 » Sun Apr 07, 2013 4:50 am

Hi
Every One ,

I came to UK in 2006 as student, finished my study, got married on sept 2011, my partner is American and was having ILR, i got my spouse visa on May 2012 for Two YEARS. my partner was working full time, but she was having Depression from work and she got Bi Polar Disorder. She quite work on Jan 2013. and she went to US for treatment. but i am afraid she might not be return to UK, but I have her documents colour copy.
Now,
If i get her Medical record from NHS and US

Can I apply for ILR without her? or Extension of my spouse visa that i could say to Home Office that my partner is sick and she is under treatment in US.

If not
What Option do I have to complete my 10 years Period.

Thanks

Bad news! You can't change. Spouse visa, from my experience, is a very dangerous visa. Power to make you happy (if all goes well) and power to make you 100% messed up (if it goes bad).

I'm sorry. I know because I'm kinda in your situation-ish
