If I consider Emp income April-April and combine it with the self empl income then I am exceeding the threshold. I guess what you are saying is if I take last 12 months pay then it has to be lower than April-April income?. Right. Since I am combining CAT B and CAT F? .

Yes indeed, it had to be equal to or lower, hence, I am saying is use the lowest amount to play it safe.

So say for example I have made £17500 April-April. And £18000 in the last 12 months from the date of application. If I combine with Slef emp in CAT F any which ways I will exceed the threshold of £18600.

Why do I have to count the lowest income?

I am not getting the point here?

Because they will use what you state, although it wouldn't make much difference it just ensures that you're over the threshold without exceeding what cat b was actually stated.

For Emp income I have to show April=April + payslips utill Aug. But the financial requirements will be calculated April-April (CAT B & CAT F). Is this correct?

Thanks Amber

Thank you so much Amber for your assistance. I will keep you posted regarding the application.

Also I just wanted your advise on my wifes previous visitors visa applications. Her general visitors visa was refused in Jan thsi year. Main reason was at that time I didnt had much time left on my visa which was expiring in March. And UKBA didnt knew what will be my circumstances after March. Since I was on Tier 1 General visa. Another reason was a generic one that UKBA is not satisfied that my wife would return back to Home country. I applied twice and both the time it was refused.
Do I have to give any explaination on this. I think since I am now applying Spouse visa reason will be self explanatory. I now have ILR and want my wife to come to UK to live with me.

Any advise will be appreciated 8)

Thank you

It should be declared and shouldn't pose any issue.
