child benefits can be issue for ILR case?

Post by smkengr » Tue Apr 16, 2013 4:05 pm

Hi

I am on ILR and my kid is British passport holder. I am claiming child benefits. Now I am applying for my wife ILR case, will this child benefits effect in anyway to the case?

In form set(O) there is no requirement to mention but in set(M) they have mentioned in the case to declare if your spouse is claiming any public funds?

Questions are.
1. Will this effect my wife ILR case?
2. What if we don't mention on the form that I am claiming child benefits?
3. Do we need photo copy of each document we are going to submit?

thanks.

You are settled and thus not subject to immigration control and can claim child benefit it will not adversely affect your wife's application. Declare it on the form that you are claiming, take photo copies of all documents.
