Documents Confirmation

Post by davidjohn » Thu Apr 18, 2013 12:47 pm

Afternoon,

Re:FLR(M)Partner of a person present and settled in the UK

In regards to the documents, i read it should be spread across 2 years but my wife and i only started living together since december. So far we have

Her name:
- tenancy
- council
- bank statement
- gas
- water
- driving licence - paper n photocard

My name
- Bt
- Sky
- home insurance
- bank
- Credit card statement from the same bank
- driving licence - paper n photocard
- nhs (Waiting for my nhs card)

We have an appointment to open a joint savings account tomorrow

I previously stayed with my family and bills were mostly in my brothers name. I think i might be able to find old bank statements and old nhs doctors appointment letters.

Is there a problem if most of the bills we plan to submit only cover from december 2012 since we only started living together recently? We only got married in january

Thanks
T

FLR for my wife. She is currently on a one year student visa which expires end of august. She has been studying here for 8 years as an international student. College,University,Masters and about to sit for her last ACCA exam. I'm a british citizen so we'll be doing the FLR - Partner of a person present and settled in the UK. She does not work because of studies and parents financially support her but her parents are overseas.
We have to apply using me as a sponsor

Please Help!!!!

Update

So after a few weeks we have the following documents

In her name:
- tenancy
- council
- bank statement
- credit card statement
- gas
- water
- driving licence - paper n photocard
She also has lots of letters dating back to two years

Marriage Certificate shows both our names and currently address

In my name:

- Bt
- Sky
- home insurance
- bank statement. Last 6 months printed from bank. Stamped
- Credit card statement from the same bank
- driving licence - paper n photocard
- nhs card
- nhs appointment letter for my eye diabetes test

I went to the bank yesterday and found someone who was able to type a letter explaining i used to live at the former address.

Letter shows i have been a customer with **** bank since 05 till present. Also wrote, customer's previous address was **** and recently moved to ***** in jan 2013. Letter stamped and signed by bank

I found a prescription letter from my GP in 2011, with date and previous address

Will all this be enough or will i have to provide a letter from my mother confirming i used to live her? If its the latter, does the letter need to be typed or can it be hand written and signed by my mother?

Thanks All in Advance
