Age of supporting documents

Post by Praveen4444 » Tue Apr 23, 2013 3:14 pm

Hi,

I am applying for Tier-1 general extension next month end by post. I was employed till 15-Jan-2013 and now I am self employed.
I am showing only my previous employment earnings for my visa extension as it meets the eligibility criteria.
I have an employer letter from my previous employer dated 16-Jan-2013 showcasing my earnings. Is it ok to provide this letter or is there any criteria that the document should not be more than certain days old?
Please help.

Thanks,
Praveen :)

payslips or letters from employer showing earnings do not have an "expiry date"

You should be fine mate. I had a similar situation at the time of my extension in Jan 2013. I showed documents from my full time employement which terminated in September 2012 and no issues whatsover.

Kind Regards,
Bob
