Certified Copies of Sponsor's Passport & Visa

Post by Takdeer » Mon Apr 29, 2013 11:37 am

Hello Everybody,

I am a British Citizen and my Wife & Daughter are applying for Settlement Immigration from India.

I came to know that I need to submit below documents for the Dependant Settlement.

- Certified copy of Sponsor's British passport along with certificate of naturalization.
- Certified copy of Sponsor's passport along with visa Stampings,
- Sponsor's original ILR approval letter from the UKBA.

Can you please confirm below?
1. Do I need to sign on all of the above copies?
2. Do I need to get these certified by a solicitor?
3. Do I need to Just submit the xerox / photostat copies without any signatures.

Thanks

All copies of original documents must be legally certified.

A certified copy is one that includes a signed statement by the issuing authority or by a solicitor or notary.

Thanks Casa!

Are you referring to only those listed above earlier which are submitted without the originals? or all the xerox copies that are submitted along with the originals?

Only documents where you're not submitting the originals.
