ILR for Child born india different Visa for Wife both in UK

Post by kt_tiru » Tue Apr 30, 2013 11:04 am

Hi All,

This is about my son's and Wife Visas.
Sorry for the long post.

I am on Tier1 Visa at the moment and going to apply for ILR on 8th May.
My wife got her Visa in 1st week of September 2010, stayed here for 1 year and went back to india. My wife and son( 1 year old) have come back to UK.

As my wife does'nt have more than one address proof, i understood that she is not eligible for ILR.

Can i go for ILR for my Child along with me and a different VISA for my WIFE.

I read in one of the old forum question that both parents should be ILR for the child to get ILR is it true still?

Only Option for my Wife is FLR(M) - if she doesn't clear englisgh test do she need to go back to India or is there any other temp Visa until she clears english test( her VISA expires on June 1st 2013)

Many thanks
Thirupathi Kappara
