Same employer same job but different department

I am stuck in an unusual dilemma , if I change department under the same employer will I need to reapply???

For same employer, if the job is same (SOC code is the same), then there is no need, and if you are on Tier 2 General. Have a look at your Tier 2 approval letter or Tier 2 application guidance.

Not really. If you performing the same duties it should be ok. When you apply for Tier 2 you don't specify the department.

But if you are in Development Department but now are moved to IT Helpdesk then of course you will need to re apply with different SOC Code.

It's same job same jd just different department currently work as information analyst going to be senior in other department same roles but higher pay...

It should be okay. You will just need to update them when you apply for extension.
