Yes if he or she has engaged with the child in a professional capacity. A teacher or health worker is usually more appropriate.[iD] wrote:Quick question.
On MN1, can I get our pharmacist to be the professional referee for my kids born in the UK?
Please accept my apologies in advance as this must have been asked a zillion times before.

Well if he/she has been professionally engaged with the child there should be no issue. A pharmacist is an integral part of community.[iD] wrote:D4109125 wrote:Yes if he or she has engaged with the child in a professional capacity. Teacher came out with excuse saying they don't know my son for more than two years plus my daughter is just under 1 year old.
GP wouldn't do it, full stop.
Pharmacist said he'd do it and charge £17.50 per child but ending up not charging at all.
They have been professionally engaged with my kids since they're local so I guess/hope it'd work. On the form he has written Patient pharmacist.
Lovely! Thanks for your reply.D4109125 wrote:Well if he/she has been professionally engaged with the child there should be no issue. No you do not need to complete section 3 as the children are not applying under section 3 (2) or 3 (5). Are you applying through the NCS? If not, do not send more documents than the guidance notes ask for as you risk losing them.[iD] wrote:Added a couple of questions more above.
Yes I am applying through NCS. So these documents are enough?D4109125 wrote:No you do not need to complete section 3 as the children are not applying under section 3 (2) or 3 (5). Yes, the NCS will copy the originals and only send what is needed.[iD] wrote:Yes I am applying through NCS.
