EEA1/EEA2 application with temporary employment

I've been loking for answer but could not find anywhere in this forum.
Please let me know if can apply for EEA1 and EEA2 resident card when you have a "temporary job" contract wihtout mentioning for how long it will be and still be granted RC.
Or would you recomend to wait until getting a permanent job?

Employer says it is for about 3 months and can be renewed but it doesn't say this in the actual contract and there is no "duration" and now been working for 1 month only.
what can you put in Section 6 - 6.7 "expected duration of employment"?

If you are doubtful about employment then EEA national can still excercise its treaty rights by becoming self sufficient on the basis of non-eea national's income/its own saving/earning. But you need to buy private health insurance.

Nowadays even permanent positions are not really permanent. You don't need to answer all the questions in the form. It is fine to leave it blank. You should be aware that if the EEA national stops working and becomes self sufficient it will require you to to hold private medical insurance for the time to be counted for PR.

This means that even if my husband is working & i the EEA national is not working, can be self sufficient but need to buy private health cover. what if i dont & keep on using the NHS. will it effect the EEA1 & EEA2 we have applied.

Therefore, self sufficiency on the income/saving of any of the family member could be much easier for supporting application. But private medical insurance is needed. NHS many hundred thousand people are already using and the most noticeable point is that even NHS/public health care given the concept of private health insurance.

The concept of being self sufficient sounds good but I guess it would not be as simple as it sounds. The UKBA will definitely have a problem with it too.

What if I am a Director of a company which sells goods online so I work from
Home. What kind of exercising treaty right would that be.

I guess it's a matter to apply now and hope the EU national is still working while the application is in process to allow UKBA to make a decision.

What sort of private health insurance is required? the ones like BUPA?

Any one knows the processing time for EEA1 and EEA2? Is it really 6 months?
Can the passport be returned without the application been stoped?
