Family Visit Visa Refused

Hi Iam on Tier 1 general and applied for my parents to visit me as family visitors with me as their sponsor.Their Visa was removed based on the fact that my status in UK is considered temporary and I am therefore not eligible to sponsor them under family visitor category. Do you think it is worth appealing against this as they have been traveling to UK every year for the past 10 years under different categories and in 2011 and 2010 as family visitors sponsored by myself. Would appreciate any advise thanks.
