Notice Period

Hi,

Please can you help me with the following,

I'm currently working for company A on Tier-2. I've changed my visa with a new sponsor (company B) and I've also received the approval letter from UKBA on 10/05/2013 and my new company (company B) is happy to give a start date as per my convenience however, the start date on CoS is 1st of May 2013. I'm yet to receive my BPR (Biometric Card).

My current employer expects me to give 1 week of notice. Now, I'm not sure if I can work with my current employer even after the issue date on the BPR.

Will there be any legal complications to this?

Same problem to me. wait for expert. Confusion in tier 2 guidance clause 199 regarding to the date on COS.
