Immigration to Canada - Father?

Post by Rocker_C » Fri May 17, 2013 5:08 pm

Hey There

So I met a girl from Canada, and we've been dating for 3 years coming up to 4 years now. Would like to move together so to get married within 4/5 years of now.

Im currently studying a degree and have taken a mock test of the canadian immigration skilled workers test. Of course I get a very good score, and more than what I need to qualify by a long shot.

The problem comes as I can not leave my father behind in the UK as he is the only member of family I have! It would not be an option to do this, but he would be willing to move to canada instead. My girlfriend would not be willing to move to the UK for the same reason (leaving family behind).

My father is 52 this year, and Ive tried to look up a way to get him to Canada with me in some way.. there just has to be some sort of way as he would be fully supported by both myself and my girlfriend without a doubt in every capacity financially.

Could someone tell me of a way in which he may be able to do this at the same time I emigrate to Canada? He himself has been a chemical engineer and has a HND qualification in it, with over 10 years experience in the field too. He would also be willing to work there in that profession if needed.

Thanks

You firstly check that whether your father is a visa national to Canada or not.
