USA Transit Visa while travel to Canada

Post by TRV » Wed Feb 07, 2007 5:39 pm

Hi,

I am Indian national going to work in Canada on Temporary work for two years. I am going there to start my work in March. I live in Ireland now and do I need a transit visa to fly via US airports in to Canada?

I still hold Indian passport, no other passports.

Appreciate your response.

Thanks

Yes, you'll need to go through the whole process of applying for a US visa. Best to fly directly to Canada if you want to avoid the hassle of getting a US visa.

There is no such thing as a US transit visa afaik. If that info is correct, you'll have to apply for a B1/B2 tourist visa.
