Not sending photographic evidence due to Religious beliefs

Post by rozypozy » Sun May 19, 2013 8:12 pm

I'm engaged to someone who has been in the UK for almost 4 years now on a student visa and we've in a relationship for about a year and plan to marry in the summer.

The wedding is set, venue booked, dress bought, etc but the issue we have is that due to our religious belief, neither of us take pictures except for necessities (passport, etc). Would this create problems for us afterwards?

In theory no. However, photos convince someone of the genuineness of your relationship in ways pure documentation can't. Perhaps this is one of those times you should consider it a necessity just in case.

Genuine question though, which religion has that belief associated with it?
