they must have received it. Otherwise they would have told you to post them out. so dont worry, it would have reached to the case worker. just double check the email you sent the documents is the same as your case worker asked you to send; and if its the same email then dont worry.
They just tell me to reply via email... with email I don’t know 🤷‍♂️ 😔
Do not worry, they must have received it. give it until next week friday. email again on next friday around 10am to Nationality support team FMT email to chase it up.

It can take a few weeks, a few months or even a couple of years.

I applied on mid March 2019, on basis of long residency + 1year ILR. On 31 May, I got a letter asked me to send them any existing passport. I done so on the same day. Last week 28 th of July email them to request a update on my application. They reply me a very generic auto reply that they need more time to process my application as it is applied on 31 May! Which was wrong as I applied on March.
However, today 5th August I received my existing passport and approval letter dated 2nd August.
Thank you very much everyone on this page as it was massive help for the application and whole waiting periods easy as everyone updating their time line and statuses.
best of luck who are waiting. :|

I applied 4 February and emailed Home office on 28 July and 3 August. I received response today below on 6 August.

Please can I have you comments on this. Email doesn’t say I have been allocated a case worker. It’s been over six months since I applied. Appreciate your help please on how I should respond. Thanks

Date of application: 08/02/2019
Date Biometrics enrolled: 15/02/2019 UKVCAS new service appointment
Date on Approval letter: waiting

more than 5 months and still no answer, i have sent an email for an update only get the one most of us getting: (All applications are dealt with in application receipt date order. As you application was received on 8th February 19, It will take a while longer for your application to be considered. Once your application is decided, you will be contacted by your caseworker.)
and few days after got a letter explaining that the checking process is not yet completed, any one one with the same situation and what does it mean.

Hi Guys,
Although my application for Citizenship is pretty recent (3 weeks only), it appears though as we are falling under one of the 'slow' processing periods of the Home Office. When checking the timeline pages, January was a pretty fast month for all applicants posting (23-40 days from the date of application). March/April were pretty slow, with an average of 75+ days and some applications going above 120 days. While May was ok, it seems that June/July are pretty slow.

Do you happen to know if the summer is the highest period in terms of application volumes?
I emailed the HO to ask whether my application was already with a caseworker, but got their standard reply back, saying that all applications are dealt with in receipt date order.

I applied on 19 of December 2018 and after 8 months i just received the letter explaining that some complex issues are raised and they expect to make a decision on my application as soon as possible. I am totally shocked  , as I believe my application is straight forward. The only thing I am doing is just waiting, waiting and waiting.
