I applied on 16 April
i have no idea what that is means brother although below is my communication histories and replies.
12/08/2019:FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk: Thank you for the email,

I can only comment that your application is ongoing in the application process. As you may be aware, our service standard is that we will complete 100% of workable and straightforward cases within six months. The definition of a workable case, and what we expect from our customers.
28/08/2019:NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gov.uk:Thank you for your e-mail.

I cannot comment on other applications. However the simplicity or indeed complexity of an application cannot be known until it has been considered by a caseworker. Nevertheless, UKVI aims to complete 95% of cases within 6 months from the date of receipt. Therefore as your application was received on 15-Apr-2019, it will take a while longer for your application to be considered. Once your application is decided, you will be contacted by your caseworker.
12/09/2019:nationalityfrontendtechnicalspecialists@homeoffice.gov.uk [nationalityfrontendtechnicalspecialists@homeoffice.gov.uk:Thank you for your e mail.

I can confirm that we have received your application and your biometric data.

Your case is currently awaiting allocation to a caseworker for consideration. Unfortunately due to the complex nature of our work we are unable to provide time scales for processing applications however you will usually get a decision within 6 months.

Both similar emails as mine says further enquires HAVE been made and the decision will not be too much longer. Yours says that further enquires ARE been made and it will take while longer. STRANGE NO DIRECT RESPONSE

Hi dears members, I applied for naturalisation on 7 Feb 2019 but I was overstayer and refuges status+ ILR and after waiting for 8 months, yesterday I received an email from case worker that my application has been processed and home office noted that my B1 English test expired and she gave me notice of 10 days to submit latest B1 English test otherwise my application might be refused. I passed yesterday my B1 English from Trinity College and they will deliver my certificate after 7 days. Then I will submit my scan copy to case worker for consideration. Please any advice/ suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Good news after 8 months. Response to your case worker saying you have passed your English test and will email or posted as soon as you received the original.

Hi KatiSarah,

I am in a similar situation. Can’t sleep, checking my post box every single day hoping for a miracle.

I received an email response to my enquiry from home office a week ago saying that I will he contacted by post with 21 days. So I called my local council today to see if they received my certificate (they said they only get them once a week on Thursdays), but they didn’t have anything in my name yet. I was really looking forward to receiving a letter, but I guess I have to wait maybe another week or even two, because council should technically receive my certificate first (according to them), so once I get the letter I can call them and book immediately and they should have my certificate already.

Does anyone know how long on average does it take from receiving “you will be contacted by post within 21 days” email from FMT to receiving a letter? I understand that 21 days is a maximum, and hoping it will be faster than that, because really why would a second class letter take 21 working days to arrive? It takes 3-5 days usually for second class post....

It is 21 days, as the email says, based on other members experience. The letter is not sent the exact same day you get the email. It makes it through the HO building and postal department after updating your file, printing letters, getting them signed etc before getting sent out.

Hi everyone,
I have been reading through the timeline and unforutnately i have similar experience. It will be 6 months next week and have not heard anything. My solicitor thinks not a good idea to contact them before 6 months as it will delay the process.
I have refugee ILR and very clear history of living in UK and serving NHS england.

My next question is about travel. Is there a home office website link to support we can travel whilst awaiting naturlization? My solicitor keeps saying i should not travel to Europe whilst awaiting naturlization.

Many Thanks
And am sure he is charging you for giving you such wrong advice.

You are free to travel while you wait for a citizenship application.

The travel restriction while application is pending is ONLY relevant to immigration (visas and ILR) applications.
You are free to travel dear because I have travelled last August to Europe so that information is irrelevant
I applied on the 3rd of April 2019 and still waiting for the decision.

Hi Azee77,

We are exactly in a same situation. I applied 1st April 2019. I received a letter last week from HO saying They can't process my application within 6 month- I called them to the number above and asked for an update and after a day i received the same email response.

We never know what they are doing and how long it can take to process our applications! we should be patience and i know it's way to hard to do so- I can't focus on anything right now. this is the most stressful time in my entire life!!!

Good luck :)

Dear experts,

Need some advice. I got my ILR last year and will be applying for my naturalization. I have the following queries to proceed:

1. I cleared my English test while applying for ILR. Do I need to get a certificate from NARIC to prove my English? Reason for asking is that while submitting the form, via www.gov.uk, in the end it asks me to submit a NARIC certificate. Do I really need to get one?

2. I am only filling the form available on https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk. Is there anything else I need to fill in?

3. Do I need to send my documents such as Passport, BRC card etc in orginial after I submit my application?

Thanks
Mansoor

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

Hi All,

Forgive me if this question has already been asked here. I have two referees that signed their paperwork lets say today 14/10/2018, however, l want to submit my application in 6 months (14/04/2020). Will this be a problem? (e.g do l have to ask my referees to sign new for with the dates)?

Thanks,
Myky

Hi all!

I made a naturalisation application after 5 years Tier 2, and 1 year ILR in early October.
Last week, I realised that I have made two mistakes!
1- In 'Have you ever made any previous immigration applications in the UK or abroad' I answered NO, whereas in some posts I noticed people have said I should have included my Tier 2 visa and ILR applications. The question was vague, as I thought it means naturalisation application not ILR, as I had already included my ILR BRP. :?
2- In 'In addition to the names already provided, are you now or have you ever been known by another name?' I said No. however, I had not seen this question correctly and when I was double checking my application this question was not there! Once I submitted the application, I could see I have mistakenly answered NO, whereas in my ILR application I had said yes and included the family name post-fix which was removed from the whole family name when I was 2 years old.

I sent an email to furthernationalityenquires and explained these two issues with my application, and attached my ILR application and details on my Tier 2 visa applications. Do I need to take any further action? Do you think these mistakes will lead to a refusal / shall I apply again and withdraw this application? Or you think it is ok?

Cheers,
Sep
