my passport runs out end of this year and hence i have applied for renewal as I didn't want to wait for the passport from HO to come back end of this year(early next year) then apply for passport renewal.

I will be eligible to apply for ILR (LR) by 25th July. I do have my current passport which is still valid till end of this year, shall I go ahead and apply with my current passport or wait for the new passport to come through then apply for long residence ?
