Passed Life in the UK test - 3rd edition

Hi,

I passed my LUK test, and I wanted to share my LUK, 3rd Edition, test experience.

Books:

1. Official LUK: A guide for new residents - 3rd Edition.

Practice tests:

1. Official LUK: Official practice question and answers.


I read the official book, and practised all the 17 tests in the Official Q&A book. I got 20 and above correct in all my practice tests except 2 tests.

On the test day, it was not that difficult as i imagined.

1. Went 15 mins before the exam time.
2. Got admitted into the hall, got my Id and address proof checked.
3. Got registed for exam.
4. Waited few mins in hall again.
5. Got into the test room and started test.
6. After my test, waited in the hall again until the last person completed the test.
7. Got the pass certificate after signing it. (Use the same signature as the one on your BRP card, as this is the certificate you will submit for your ILR. Unfortunately i used my shorter version of my sign and I am hoping it will not be an issue when i submit my pass certificate for ILR.)

After the test, what i found was that around 16 questions were almost the same as the questions in Official Q&A, and around 5 were inferrable from the official Q&A tests.

Practising the Official Q&A was helpful, and I suggest that spending £8 on the Official Q&A book is worth it.

I have this book but there are no 17 tests in this book? Can you kindly some url for this.

The one you have is the Official handbook, not the Offical Q&A book.
