How long does it take for notice of appeal to reach Post?

Hi All,

I am hoping that someone here can help me? The Tribunal sent the notice of appeal to the Post on the 11th of June.

How long does it take for the embassy to receive it?

I hope someone here can be kind enough to share their experience as I need to start contacting the embassy to process my partner's application.

I take it you were refused and appealed the decision by sending the appeal notice to IAT?

If so , the IAT take about 2-3 weeks before the appeal is sent to the BHC post where you applied.

It then take a further 8-10 weeks before teh ECM gets an opportunity to review it. If after review the ECM grants visa, he will inform IAT of his decision who will in return inform you or the applicant themselves.

If the ECM does not change his mind, he will inform IAT to set the case down for a hearing.If this was to happen, it can take a further 2-3 months.

In general it takes about 6 months for an appeal to be processed

I have been given the deadline for the eCm review but i was asking jow long does it take for it to get to the embassy itself. The postage

All UKBA posts goes by special post to the BHC post.

It can take upto 2 weeks . They wait till they get enough mail for the BHC post and then sends it of all together as they use special carriers to deliver sensitive and confidential information such as the one you and others would send
