Need Help(Tier 1 dependent applicatin from india refused)

Hi,
i had applied for Tier 1 general dependent visa for new born bay who born in United Kingdom,went to India due to some emergency 2 month ago,i applied visa from India .but,visa was refuse due to not providing tuberculosis certificate.is there any chance that i can win the appeal by claiming baby born in united kingdom.can any one give me advice supporting documents .

Hi,

Sorry to hear that, have you read this document:
"All children aged 11 years upwards must be tested." (Page 3-->Q15)

Also,
Tuberculosis testing in India

My little one got Tier 1 (general) Dependent visa today from New Delhi.

We also applied without Tuberculosis certificate. I was very worried about it as well after seeing your post so I emailed them and they said "The website clearly confirms exemptions for the TB test , where in children under 11 years old are exempted."

But in cover letter I stated that baby is born in UK and all the required vaccination has been done by NHS including the TB injection.

Thankfully we have been granted the visa.

Baby is in India from last two months and he is 9 months old.
