Review processing times

I was refused because my academic transcripts did not state the degree has been awarded even though i had a letter from my university in australia that it has been completed and will be conferred in 3 months time. I have submitted a review as the guidance notes state that what i provided was suffient. Does anyone know what the time frame for a review is when you have also submitted an Urgent Treatment Form as due to the changes and processing times i have now gone over my expiry date.

If they consider your urgent treatment, the decision could be taken in less than a week. If they did'nt it may take any where between 2 to 4 weeks.

Hi

I have refused in old rules.Do you think still I may apply for review ? If yes what would be the way ? Is they accept review request by e-mail ?
Pls let me know if any body have experience.

sorry 4 ur refusal....review can take longer and up to 2-3months. Mine took almost that long under the old rule and was still refused. Best bet is to re-apply and this time around make sure ur uni letter states that you have BEEN AWARDED XXXX DEGREE rather than completed or will be conferred in 3months time simply becos for all HO/Caseworker knows, you might not have completed ur course maybe due to havin a resit or something so technically, you have not finished ur degree course. HO is very particular about the wordings in ur uni letter as it must clearly states AWARDED, which means you have definately finished ur course.

If you can wait till 3months time (at times its wot waiting, as i too waited for 4months to re-apply under the new rule and got approval letter recently) wen you are finally been conferred ur award, wud suggest you re-apply with a letter startin you've been awarded ur degree and at this time wait for ur review as it can take longer and rememeber u cant submit new docs with ur review request, they will still make decisions on ur original docs u submitted initially.
