please help !!!!

hello My partner received the children passport from home office today after we mail them that the application is taking so long (12 month) and his really disturbing the family and the children as well bcos they can not go on school trip and,on the letter that come with it they say the case will now be pass to case worker to look into it .
Do anybody know how long it will take them to get back to us, we apply on flr (o) base on her British children 3 of them .

We got this back after mailing them and after the children passport is been sent back last week

documents/in formation. Please send ORIGINAL documents as photocopies are NOT
acceptable for the purpose of deciding your application.
Documents required:
Please clarify if Ms xxxxxxxx is in a relationship with the father of her children —
Mr xxxxxxxx? If she is, then do they live together? If so, please provide
evidence to confirm this.
If she is not in a relationship with Mr xxxxxxx, then does she have sole responsibility
for her 3 children? If so, please provide evidence such as a letter from the children's
school, GP, Health Visitor etc. Also provide evidence that the 3 children live at the
same address as their mother.
It is essential that you use the enclosed return label and reply by 11 July 2013
