Confused Quick Help

I successfully got my tier 1 general visa on 18th August 2011 using my undergraduate degree 30 points and 40k salary.
Last year I completed my MBA top up , Can I switch qualifications.
Can I apply for my extension with my MBA scoring 35 points and 35k salary.

please help

Absolutely you can claim points for the higher UK qualification

I would say consult with lawyer as far I know whatever points you claimed at the time of initial application they will apply same rule on your extension as well

No, you can definitely claim points for a new qualification. Just make sure that it scores you points on the points calculator.

Yep that’s correct you can claim points for a new higher qualification. I applied for my initial tier 1 with a graduate degree (scored 30 points) and did my extension using post-graduate degree(scored 35 points).
