Government proccessing time of two weeks for Premium Service

Post by raykau » Fri Jul 05, 2013 6:07 pm

Hello All

I would like to have some advice on the Processing Time for Premium Service for ILR.

I am scheduled for an ILR and had contacted a leading immigration firm for a quote for my dependants and my case. The have come back with the quote stating that government processing time of approx 2 weeks.

I was under the impression that the Premium Service was typically same day service.

Can some expert kindly advice on this please.

Thanks in advance.

What premium service? Do you mean a public enquiry office peo appointment? Only certain ilr applications can be made using the peo service, and yes the decisions are usually the same day. On what basis s your ilr?

Thanks a lot for your reply !

The ILR is based on 5 year "old work permit"

Then you mean a peo service. You shouldn't need a solicitor unless complex and then if complex it should be postal. The 'premium service' should give you a same day decision.

Yes, why is it being stated at 2 weeks then? or it is the same only that it will happen in the same day?
